PACSIM installs FSTD’s in Indonesia
New Zealand‐based Pacific Simulators (PacSim) has just installed two FSTD’s at FlyBest Flight Academy
headquarters in BSD City Tangerang near Jakarta, Indonesia.
One is the all new EuroJet FJ2000 which is a Cockpit Procedures Trainer (CPT), an open cockpit systems and
procedures device, ideal for pilots heading airlines with Airbus A320 fleets and the other is a fully enclosed ProJet
PS4.5 Flight Simulator Training Device (FSTD), ideal for pilots headed to airlines with Boeing 737 fleets.
Indonesia is one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world and the addition of these two flight training
devices covers both sides of the fence for pilots completing jet transition and multicrew operations and being ‘airline
ready’ for Airbus and Boeing airlines.
Director of Operations for PacSim, Russell Hubber was on hand for the installation and handover. “We have been
working closely with the FlyBest management team throughout last year to provide the ideal equipment to enhance
their training. With the acquisition of both the EuroJet and the ProJet it sets them up to become one of the leading
flight school in Indonesia.”
