PacSim manufactures premium quality fixed-base, Flight Training Devices (FTD’s) for the global pilot training market.

Founded in 2002, PacSim is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, a country well known for advanced technology and innovation. PacSim also operates offices in Sydney (Australia), New Delhi (India), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Denver (USA).

We offer a range of Airbus A320, Airbus A330, Airbus A350 and Boeing 737 FTD’s certified under EASA, FAA and ICAO for airline training centres looking at reducing their Full Flight Simulator (FFS) footprint, reduce costs and improve training outcomes.

With billions of dollars wiped off airline Balance Sheets in recent years, now is a great time to rethink pilot training requirements and consider the significant value that CPTs and FTDs can provide. FTD’s can deliver around 50% of the training of the FFS for a fraction of the price. Any CEO or CFO of any airline would be crazy not to look at the benefits an FTD provides.

We also manufacture cost-effective, generic FTD’s designed for ‘airline bridging’ flight training. These are ideal for universities and flight schools looking at expanding into the ‘airline career’, ‘jet transition’ and ‘MCC’ market.
